I have been grateful for eric's, gorgonheap's, and others vigilant attention to cleaning up dead posts, and streamlining the place-It's great to back-up, and re-read some of the great thread discussions (for the 3 or four minutes it takes to recall the twirl, of one or two dissenting opinions, to what most times become circle-jerks)

When these viddies die, and are not resurrected, the thread gets buried, or sometimes lost forever(killed)-

We would benefit from an invocation, which preserves the discussion.
My technique, is to replace the embed with a suitable, but not exact copy, because the memories are worthy, the thread engaging....be damn the votes, I could care less-for example,

My mom sent me this video today. It shows the view from a dashboard camera of an Omaha, NE police car during a high speed chase in Nov. 2006. BFD, right? Well, I was born and raised in Omaha, and some of the streets seen in the chase are ones I went down many, many times. The chase starts on 42nd and "L" streets, and moves south down 42nd St. I drove that street every freaking day to go to the high school that I loathed so dearly.

Won't you take a high-speed stroll down memory lane with me?

uhhhh, just to make it unfair, for either party, me an another user are havin' a thing, based on who gets where fersss.......so, the winner get's something funny in the mail-not sayin' ise funny, or funnier, but, I really don't dig most of the mail comin' to my house anyway.....yer votes really don't figure into it, or whatever......

It's pretty much what I hoped the cooking/ "GoodEats" channel could be like. I think we were just missing critical mass of sifters for recipes, and also needed a place to upload your food videos to.


It appears most videos are from YouTube, so use this as yet another source for videos.
